The local water supply lacks filtration or treatment to produce water that is free of disease and parasites. FHTH continues to investigate a possible centralized solution for this serious health problem but more work is needed. In the interim, a two 5-gallon bucket filtration kit can be made available on a cost-effective basis per home (approx. $40 each).
